Map for SolaX Power
A combined public-affairs and government-relations landscape — the decision-makers, the money, and the language shaping the Warm Homes Plan, battery storage and grid connections reform. Built to turn SolaX's visibility into contracts.
About SolaX Power
One of the world's top-three smart-energy manufacturersThe manufacturer the Warm Homes Plan needs.
SolaX Power is a global smart-energy business manufacturing solar inverters, battery energy-storage systems, heat pumps and EV charging at scale — present in more than 130 markets with over two million systems deployed in the field.
Founded in 2012 and listed on the Shanghai STAR Market since January 2024, SolaX ranks among the world's top three in energy-storage inverters, backed by 500+ patents, 3,000+ certifications and an R&D team that is 30% of its entire workforce.
What SolaX lacks is not product, proof or capacity — it is visibility and relationships inside UK Government. That gap can be closed, and quickly.
Its immediate ambition: become a trusted supplier under the Warm Homes Plan, and unblock the NESO approval delays affecting its utility-scale battery pipeline.

The National Energy System Operator — the gate for every utility-scale connectionWho they are
NESO is the National Energy System Operator — launched on 1 October 2024 when Government took National Grid's system operator into public ownership for £630m. For the first time, one publicly-owned body plans and operates Great Britain's whole energy system, sponsored by DESNZ and regulated by Ofgem.
It holds the levers that matter most to SolaX at utility scale: strategic spatial planning, security of supply, and — decisively — the grid connections queue.
Under the TMO4+ reform (Ofgem-approved April 2025), NESO has replaced “first come, first served” with “first ready, first needed, first connected.” Projects that meet Gate 2 readiness and align with Clean Power 2030 get a firm date; the rest wait at Gate 1.
For a solar-plus-storage manufacturer, NESO decides which projects energise and when — and battery storage is the single largest technology it prioritised toward 2030.

Map geography (all 650 constituencies, 207 upper-tier authorities and council-control data) adapted from Fozzilo's engagement-map base layer. The Warm Homes layer now combines the three main routes — Warm Homes: Local Grant (£520.7m, ~270 councils), Home Upgrade Grant Phase 2 and the Social Housing Fund — so every English council shows the funding it has received. Figures are aggregated to the upper-tier authority; where money flows through a consortium or a combined-authority retrofit programme the area is shown as “participating” rather than with a separate per-council figure. Scotland and Wales deliver through their own schemes (Warmer Homes Scotland, Nest Wales) and are shown separately.
